famous film Superman, who uses his great powers to help the people in danger and save the world.       50-year-old New Yorker Wesley Autrey is an ordinary（普通） construction(建筑) worker. He doesn't
have any powers as the superman. However, he became a  “Subway Superman” because of his brave deeds.
    One day, Autrey was waiting for the subway train on the platform(月台) with his children. Suddenly, he saw a young man fall down to the tracks(铁轨) as a train came in. Autrey quickly jumped down onto the tracks andpulled the young man to safety as the train passed just a few centimeters（厘米） above them.
    The story of the “Subway Superman” soon spread through the New York City.  And later Autrey received theBronze Medallion(铜质大奖章) at City Hall in New York from the mayor.（市长） The medallion is the city's highest for civic (市民的) achievement. （成就）
